Meet the Dörfler Family
The history of our family of innkeepers goes back to the year of 1761: Ulrich Dörfler is a passionate cook and, as our chef the cuisine, responsible for everything regarding culinary matters. His wife, Kristina, takes care of the reception, the rooms, and the restaurant service. Pauline is the good soul of our house, making marmalade, jelly, cakes, and farmhouse bread according to traditional recipes. Her husband, Helmut Dörfler, is in charge of the agricultural activities at the country inn, next to his work at the restaurant. The resources for our pork and home-made sausage come from local farmers. Helmut's specialty is Spanferkel (roasted piglet), which is served every Friday evening from May to October. On Thursdays, Ulrich Dörfler offers interested guests a customized candlelight dinner.
